Back in the 1908 the Kasatu Maru, an important Japanese ship, was leaving the port of Kobe and bringing to Santos, the arbour of São Paulo, 781 Japanese. This event transformed São Paulo in the city with the biggest Japanese community outside Japan. In the Liberdade neighborhood and not only there, today you can taste one of the most delicious Sushi of the world. Brazilian Japanese are really proud of that and they do not only prepare sushi, you can find temaki, yakisoba and many other tradicional delicacies!
